Happy, Happy Birthday!

Wednesday has rolled around again and

 JanR is our hostess and she chose the topic "Happy,Happy Birthday!".

Hi! Happy Wednesday! Today's challenge over at Little Red Wagon is brought to us by Shani.

She would like to see anything that has to do with the sea. Here's what I came up with:

 

Supplies used:     Designer paper from my stash (wish I had more of this.. love it!)  

                            Snow drifts cover-up die from My Favorite Things  

                            Mermazing stamp set from My favorite things

                            Copic Markers - YG05, YG09 ,BG01, BG05, RV04, RV09, E00, E11, 

                                                        E31, E35,E39

Snow

 

Happy Wednesday, everybody!

 A new challenge is starting at
Double D Challenges. The theme is SNOW.  Here is the inspiration board :

 I was inspired by the idea of the trees in the winter landscape, so this is the card I made:

Here's a closer look: 

I started by choosing a basic tree stamp:

Then I added the sparkly snow using a stencil and Nuvo glimmer paste:

Finishing it, I took a white pencil and added the snow that had fallen on the tree branches 

and stamped a sentiment.

Baby it's cold outside

Today it is my turn to choose the topic at Little Red Wagon. I chose "Baby it's cold outside" and I would like to see anything winter!  Hopefully that give you lots of ideas to choose from. Here's what I did:

I used a stamp from Stampendous ...from 2009 , an oldie but a goodie!

The background was created with a die from Hello Bluebird.  The added snowflakes were from a die from Obsession Impression.

New Beginnings

 Welcome to the first Wednesday of the New Year at Little Red Wagon.

 Chrissy is our hostess and she chose as the topic New Beginnings, like new homes, new years, etc.,       I chose...New Babies! 

some of the supplies I used:

I wanted the window to be square so I just covered up the rounded top when I inked up the stamp.

My niece Kristen is due to have her baby any day now so I won't have to wait long to send this card!
