Sparkle and Shine

Happy Wednesday, everybody!

A new challenge is starting at
Double D Challenges.

For this challenge they would like our projects to Sparkle and Shine.

Here's what I made:

I used the Snowflake Hexagon die from Simon Says Stamp.
I cut one from white and one from glitter and off set them so that the glitter would show around the snowflakes. The just a note sentiment is also a die from Simon Says Stamp.

Thinking of you

This morning I was thinking about my niece. She has often commented about setting up the the cards I send her on her work desk...so I made her this one to add to the collection:

Here's a side view showing how the large green plaid circle folds in half to stand the card up.

I love this Cardinal!  He's made from a die from Honey Bee Stamps.

I plan on using him on next years Christmas cards...

Wish me luck on making that many of them. LOL

Thanks for visiting my blog.

Stay warm.

Hugs, Doni

Winter

Hi everyone!

Today the challenge at Simply Clean & Simple is to make a card that reminds us of winter.

This is what I came up with:

I used a light blue card base. The bright white card front was die cut using the My Favorite Things Blueprints #13 die....this one is really old...but I use it all the time!

The off white tree was cut using a Sizzix thinlits  tree die and that sweet little cardinal ...and a bunch of his friends ... have been hanging on my pegboard forever, so I have no idea who makes them.

I hope you enjoy this beautiful winter season. ( I can say that because I'm retired and don't have to leave the house...LOL)

Hugs,

Doni

8th Anniversary

Happy Wednesday, everybody!

A new challenge is starting at Double D Challenges.

 8th Birthday/Anniversary
8th anniversary is Bronze (just a suggestion)
Doesn't have to be Bronze, just anything birthday

Here is their design board:

I found some bronze colored glitter paper in my stash,

so I went with a very clean and simple Anniversary card.

Congratulations to my two favorite people... Diane and Darlene.

To make this card I used  a really old heart punch and the words were printed on the computer.
