Christmas

Hi! Welcome to my blog.

I really had to work hard to not use some snowflakes! LOL

Square Hello

Chrissy is hosting this week at Little Red Wagon and she is giving us the choice between square and rectangle.

I chose square.

I'm really loving this shade of purple.

I also used a embossing folder from Cuttlebug called Oxford, a flower die from The Greetery and a Hello die from Simon Says Stamp.

Small

Hi !

  Our lovely hostess at Little Red Wagon this week is Imke. She gave us the challenge of Small or Large. 

I chose Small:

This small card measures 3 1/2 by 2 1/2...the pen is normal size...LOL

 I was happy that I had small envelopes in my stash.  

Here's what I used:

Awhile ago I cut colored cardstock into thin strips..arranged the colors into a rainbow and taped them together on the back to make my own paper!

Bicycle Race

Hello, I'm glad you could stop by.

      Today on Little Red Wagon our hostess is Kate and she would like to see a Bicycle Race or any form of transportation. I thought a bicycle race sounded like fun, so that's what inspired me to create this card:

I used:

a stamp & die set (Enjoy) from jillibean soup

small bicycle stamp from firefly stamps (2016)

I did a crappy job  of stamping ..the Enjoy looks bad, so after seeing this picture I took a black marker and fixed it!...of course, I'm too lazy to take another picture. LOL

Have a ball

Hello!

This week on Little Red Wagon our hostess is Brenda and she would like us to feature a dog on our creations.

Friends who live up the street often take their dachshund Polly for a walk and stop by to see me. So today I'm featuring Polly on my shaker card.

 

First I colored the dog with Copic markers #15 and E17 and the little baseball with YG01

 

 Then I made the front of the card by printing "Have a Ball" onto white cardstock and then using dies to cut the edges and the circle.

Once this was die cut, I flipped it over and on the back added a piece of acrylic over the cut out circle and the put foam tape over everything but the circle.

 

Next came adding all the shaker beads then removing the foam tape and covering the circle area with some pretty background paper. Once this was done you could flip it over and then adhere it to the front of a brown card base. Last came adding the cut little doggie.

I hope my friends have a ball playing shaking this card!

Kraft

Today on Little Red Wagon  JanR  is our hostess and she would like us to craft with kraft paper.

So, I thought kraft and white would be a good color combo.

The camera makes this kraft paper look a bit on the orange side! It's not.  Sorry about that!

Doni here...and  this week at Little Red Wagon  I have the honor of being the hostess.

I have chosen the theme "Boys will be Boys" which simply put...make it masculine!

...which means she would like us to use cool colors.

So today I made a birthday card using some pretty blue colors.

   I hope you can tell that I used navy blue not black....oh, and I threw in that cute little yellow bird 

 to show you what happy looks like! LOL

Let the sunshine

Hi! 

 Wednesday has rolled around again and the talented Brenda is our hostess today on Little Red Wagon.

She challenges us to "Let The Sunshine".

Here's what I came up with:

Yep...my sun is a happy little guy, although I think maybe he should be wearing sunglasses!

Bows

Today on Little Red Wagon  JanR  is our hostess and she would like to see bows.

She said any type of bows...so I picked tiny paper bows. All I can say about that is thank goodness for tweezers!

 

Now that the card is all done and I look at it,I probably should have used a kite instead of a balloon. But hey, who said a balloon couldn't have a tail with bows on it and besides...I don't have a kite die!

The only info I have on the tiny bow die is that it was sold by Eswala Store on Amazon (2018).

I also used Lawn Fawn's puffy cloud frames and Penny Black's balloon dies.

Hi!

Play the game

Hello!

  It's Wednesday and over at Little Red Wagon  Kate has chosen a really fun challenge for us. She chose the title " Play The Game" which means our card can be about any game or sport.

I love to play cards. I was really excited when I came across this oldie but goodie stamp from Stampingbella called Gambler-itas!

I took the words from the stamp set and printed them small on a black strip with my computer.

The hardest part about this card was deciding what colors to make their outfits!
