Small

Hi !

Our lovely hostess at Little Red Wagon this week is Imke. She gave us the challenge of Small or Large.

I chose Small:

This small card measures 3 1/2 by 2 1/2...the pen is normal size...LOL

I was happy that I had small envelopes in my stash.

Here's what I used:

Awhile ago I cut colored cardstock into thin strips..arranged the colors into a rainbow and taped them together on the back to make my own paper!

'till next time,

Bicycle Race

Hello, I'm glad you could stop by.

Today on Little Red Wagon our hostess is Kate and she would like to see a Bicycle Race or any form of transportation. I thought a bicycle race sounded like fun, so that's what inspired me to create this card:

I used:

a stamp & die set (Enjoy) from jillibean soup

small bicycle stamp from firefly stamps (2016)

I did a crappy job  of stamping ..the Enjoy looks bad, so after seeing this picture I took a black marker and fixed it!...of course, I'm too lazy to take another picture. LOL

'till next time,

 Hugs, Doni

Have a ball

Hello!

This week on Little Red Wagon our hostess is Brenda and she would like us to feature a dog on our creations.

Friends who live up the street often take their dachshund Polly for a walk and stop by to see me. So today I'm featuring Polly on my shaker card.

First I colored the dog with Copic markers #15 and E17 and the little baseball with YG01

Then I made the front of the card by printing "Have a Ball" onto white cardstock and then using dies to cut the edges and the circle.

Once this was die cut, I flipped it over and on the back added a piece of acrylic over the cut out circle and the put foam tape over everything but the circle.

Next came adding all the shaker beads then removing the foam tape and covering the circle area with some pretty background paper. Once this was done you could flip it over and then adhere it to the front of a brown card base. Last came adding the cut little doggie.

I hope my friends have a ball playing shaking this card!

"till next time.

Sunflowers

 Hi!

A new challenge is up at Double D Challenges. The theme is Sunflowers.

They have a great mood board to help with some inspiration:

And if you're lucky enough to be chosen by Random.org. you could win this great prize:

This is the card I made:

I already sent this to my BFF Diane. She has had hand surgery this week.

I made these pretty sunflowers with a die from the Greetery.

I can't wait to see all the sunflower inspired projects.

Kraft

Today on Little Red Wagon  JanR  is our hostess and she would like us to craft with kraft paper.

The camera makes this kraft paper look a bit on the orange side! It's not.  Sorry about that!

supplies used:

My Favorite Things - Flowers in bloom stamp

White embossing powder Simon Says Stamp - hello die

White acrylic paint  to splatter

Thinking of you

Hello

Welcome to my blog

This is the card I made today

I was looking through my stamps today and I came across this all over stamp called "Flowery"made by Cas-ual friday's Stamps. I had never used this, so I popped over to their web site to get some ideas only to discover that they have gone out of business. Drats..another one bites the dust.

Any how, I picked one flower and colored it for the front and did the same idea on the inside:

Sending this off to my sister-in-law because, well, I'm thinking about her...lol

Outdoors

Hi!

The challenge this month at  Simply Clean & Simple is anything goes or anything to do with outdoors.

This is what I came up with:

I  needed to make a sympathy card to replenish my stash. I chose this image called Meadow from Inkadinkado because wildflowers are found outdoors...right?  The background shading was done by blending Distress Oxide -uncharted mariner and Distress Oxide -twisted citron.

Hope you also have some clean and simple fun with this challenge.

Double D Challenge with Altenew Collaboration

Hello!

It's Wednesday and this week there is a very special challenge over at Double D Challenges.  We are taking part in an Altenew Collaboration and our theme is STENCILS /ANYTHING GOES.  Here's the mood board Double D has for your inspiration ...

For my card, I have chosen the Altenew Build-A-Garden: Dear Dahlias to work with.    This wonderful set has Stamps, Stencils, and Dies along with lots of step by step instructions and tons of great  project ideas.

This is the card I made:

I chose to use the stamp and colored it with my Copic Markers then used the Altenew coordinating die set.   To finish the card I used a white plaid rectangle (a plaid cover die from Honey Bee Stamps) over top a light grey card base.

I hope you can join us in this anything goes challenge.
ALTENEW is awarding a $50 gift certificate to the lucky winner.

ALTENEW also has a great monthly challenge,
You can check it out here: Altenew Inspiration Challenge and here's the mood board they have to share ....

'till next time,

Doni
