Challenge #682 - Glitz, Glitter, Gleam and Glow.

Today's Challenge at  Little Red Wagon was chosen by JanR. She would like us to make a project that sparkles or shines. So, I made a card that both sparkles and shines...but let me tell ya, my camera does not do well with the shine part! Here's my card:

Here's a close up view, hopefully you can see that both the border and the sentiment are both cut from shiny gold paper!  Oh, and the red is a much darker burgandy color....good grief!

Lol, I think I'd better quit while I'm ahead...at least I got pictures!

Challenge # 681 - Let's eat!

Hi! Happy Wednesday!

 Doni, here and it's my turn to host this weeks challenge. Since I seem to always be hungry lately ...I chose the the title "Let's eat!",  that just means you can use any type of food, cakes, cookies, pies, etc.  So when making your project just put something eatable in there somewhere and you're good to go! 

Here's the card I made:

I used the computer for the sentiment.

The rest was made with My Favorite Things Die-Namics  called Sweetie Pie.

Totally clean and simple, but hey, what can I tell ya...that's me!

I can't wait to see what "goodies" you all put up!  Yum,yum, yum!

 

Flower Power

Hi!

Today the challenge at Little Red Wagon is all about Flower Power thanks to the wonderful Chrissy who is our hostess this week. I love flowers and heaven knows I have alot of flower stamps and dies to choose from, however this stamp just happened to be on my desk top ...so guess what I used?!  

Yep, you guessed right! I chose the two smallest flowers and stamped them on yellow vellum with VersaMark and embossed them with white. Then I colored them lightly on the back with my copics. Once they were done ..here's the finished card:

I'm looking forward to seeing all the beautiful flowers this week.

Hi!

Wednesday has rolled around again and

 it's time for challenge #679 over at Little Red Wagon. 

 Imke is our hostess and she chose the topic "Winter".

and by that she means colors, activities, landscapes...well you get the idea!

My favorite winter activity is building a snowman, so that inspired me to make this:

I found this perfect background paper in my stash and used these  REALLY OLD Quickutz dies to make my snowman.

I was inspired by the Autumn leaves to make this card:

I used an old leaf stamp from PSX(1999) and had fun coloring it bright fall colors using Copic markers. The sentiment is a stamp from W plus 9. The pretty background paper is from my stash.
