Let the sunshine

Hi! 

 Wednesday has rolled around again and the talented Brenda is our hostess today on Little Red Wagon.

She challenges us to "Let The Sunshine".

Here's what I came up with:

Yep...my sun is a happy little guy, although I think maybe he should be wearing sunglasses!

Bows

Today on Little Red Wagon  JanR  is our hostess and she would like to see bows.

She said any type of bows...so I picked tiny paper bows. All I can say about that is thank goodness for tweezers!

 

Now that the card is all done and I look at it,I probably should have used a kite instead of a balloon. But hey, who said a balloon couldn't have a tail with bows on it and besides...I don't have a kite die!

The only info I have on the tiny bow die is that it was sold by Eswala Store on Amazon (2018).

I also used Lawn Fawn's puffy cloud frames and Penny Black's balloon dies.

Color Challenge

Happy Wednesday, everybody!

 A new challenge is starting at
Double D Challenges.

 This time the challenge is a Color Challenge.  Here is the inspiration board :

For this challenge we needed to use the color from one of these drinks.

Here's what I did:

 I used an embossing folder from Darice for the background and pretty flowers made with wafer dies from the Greetery.

Sympathy

Hi !

I just got a new embossing plate called Wildflower Field from Simon Says Stamp. 

I embossed light grey cardstock and then to accent the raised part of the embossing, I lightly rubbed a darker grey colored pencil over it. Then I added three grey enamel dots and a die cut -with Sympathy-  from Simon Says Stamp.

Things That Fly

Hi! Happy Wednesday!

 Doni here, and it's my turn to host this weeks challenge. .I chose the the title "Things That Fly!"

Butterflies, birds, bugs, planes, helicopters, kites...just to name a few. Since butterflies popped into my head first, this is the card I made:

Lemon-ade or Yellow

Hi!  It's Wednesday and this week there is a new challenge over at Double D Challenges.

The challenge title is "Lemon-ade" you can use Lemons or yellow as the focus.

Here's the mood board for inspiration:

 

I found my inspiration in the bottom left picture of the flowers. 

 I used the stamp set Spring Flowers by Simon Says Stamp. The flowers were heat embossed with white embossing powder onto vellum. I added the color on the back side of the vellum.

Triple B Guest designer

Hi!

I am so excited! This month I was asked to be the guest designer over at Triple B Challenges.

The triple B stands for Birds, Butterflies and Blooms. On your cards you can use one of them, or two of them or all three of them. It's your choice. I chose to use two...Bird and Bloom.

 

Here's what I used:

 

It was fun coloring the hummingbird because of all the pretty colors and yes, I did check out some clip art hummingbirds to give me an idea where to put what where.
