Hi, all--
Thank you so much for following along with my grandma's blog over the last few years. She loved sharing her designs with you all. I'm heartbroken to share that Doni passed away on Sunday morning. She went with peace, her knitting needles in hand. We are celebrating her life this week, with services on Thursday. Her obituary can be found below.
Doni High Obituary, Barberton Gazette
As she'd want, I'm going to leave any scheduled posts in the queue so you can all see what she'd been up to!
Thank you again <3
Isabella Judge (Doni's eldest granddaughter)
I am so very sorry to read this. I have long admired Doni's work. Wishing your family peace.
ReplyDeleteSo sad to hear.
ReplyDeleteI don't know Doni, but I wanted to drop by to wish you all the best!
Thanks for posting this Bella. I am Doni's computer helper/crafting friend from Green (Akron). She was on two of our online design teams and worked ahead to have cards to share through the remainder of the year. We will be showcasing those cards each challenge until we have no more to share. I will miss her tremendously! I will be at the funeral tomorrow to say good bye. She was a good friend with a beautiful heart!!
ReplyDeleteSo very sad to hear of Doni's passing. I enjoyed being a design team mate on the Simply Clean & Simple Chllenge blog as well as a Dirty Dozen team mate on Splitcoaststampers. Thoughts and prayers for Doni's family and friends.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry for your family's loss. As a Double D teammate I'll feel her absence acutely, but I'm happy that her scheduled card posts will bring smiles each time I see them. Rest in peace, Doni.
