Water related

 A new challenge is starting at Double D Challenges.

I hope you can join us. to help you here's the inspiration board:

 

The challenge is to make a card that is water related. Rain is definitely water related, so that's the focus of my card.

 To make this card I used the stamp set called Rainy Day Play by Clearly Besotted. I think that little hippo in his rain suit is so cute! The rain clouds were made with cloud dies from Impression Obsession. To make the soft rain drops I used a very light blue Copic marker.

Weather

 Hi everyone!

 Today the challenge at Simply Clean & Simple is to make a card all about weather.

Here's my card about rain:

I found this glittery raindrop paper in my stash and just had to use it!

The white bottom border was die cut using Lawn Fawn's stitched hillside Borders and the puddle, sentiment and cute little umbrella holding hippo are all from Clearly Besotted.

This was a fun card to make. Wouldn't it be wonderful if real rain drops were this colorful...or maybe not because all the colors mixed together would end up being brown puddles! Lol!

Shamrocks

 I focused on the word luck and the shamrocks and came up with this card:

 It's so much fun to splatter! I used dies from Impression Obsession

 ( Tiny Shamrocks) and from The Cat's Pajamas (wreath). The saying is from clip art.

First Signs of Spring

Happy Wednesday, everybody!

 A new challenge is starting at
Double D Challenges. 

This month the theme of the challenge is the first signs of spring.

Here's the inspiration board:

The first day of spring is March 19th. When I think of the first days of spring I always think of crocuses. Sometimes the ones I have planted even stick their heads up through the snow. Here's the card I created :

      I used the crocuses clear stamp from Create a Smile.                  The Dot Scallop Border from Simon Says Stamp and the Spring Die from Neat & Tangled.

The sentiment badge is something I printed off of some free clip art a long time ago. It pays to never throw anything away! lol
